About Me
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Kelaniya, currently Im pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Honors Auditing and Forensic Accounting. As part of my academic journey, I completed a 2 year internship in the Audit and Assurance division at BDO Partners, one of the leading professional services firms in Sri Lanka. After the internship period, I joined the AIB business in Sri Lanka as an Accountant.
During my internship, I gained practical experience in auditing procedures, client interaction, and financial reporting, which allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge to real world scenarios. I was actively involved in assisting audit teams, preparing working papers, and supporting statutory audit tasks, particularly focusing on clients such as Maliban Biscuit Manufactories.
I am passionate about developing my career in finance and accounting, and I am eager to build on my experience through continuous learning, teamwork, and professional development.
