About Me
I am an author of two non fiction books, an award winning writer/researcher and editor of various premier South African and pan African magazine titles. My latest book entitled, The Tyranny of Growth: Why Capitalism has Triumphed in the West and Failed in Africa, published by Melinda Ferguson Books/NB Publishing in 2022, made the top 20 recommended list at Exclusive Books and the Nielsen top 100 global ranking. I have, over three decades, mastered my craft, having researched, written and edited large volumes of publications, documents, articles and books on current affairs, political economy, business and finance. I strive in my research and writing to bring conceptual clarity and narrative form to fast paced, often complex, data in tight prose. My literary style is contemporary and historical, theoretical and empirical, social and economic, interpretative and conversational.
