Hello,
My name is Kirti Sharma. I’m 21, freshly graduated in science but if I’m being honest, my first love wasn’t numbers or formulas. It was words.

It all began back in sixth grade, when I picked up A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. I didn’t know then that one book could shift something so deep inside you but it did. That was the first time I felt seen by fiction. I admired the characters, cried for them, related to them in quiet ways I couldn’t explain. Since then, books have become more than just stories to me. They’ve been mirrors and sometimes a guide to living life.

Eventually, I started writing too. Mostly about people. The ones who brush past you briefly but leave something behind. Bus crushes I never spoke to, strangers who were kind without needing a reason, friends who changed me just by being themselves. Writing became my way of keeping them close , of capturing what I didn’t want to forget.

I don’t want to lose this part of myself, I want to nurture it.
