Kholofelo Phaswane

I’m a Java backend developer with experience working in the banking and financial services space, currently at African Bank. I mainly work with Java and Spring Boot to build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.

In my current role, I’ve been involved in developing and integrating services, including working with SOAP based systems and internal platforms. I also focus on improving performance and reliability by applying best practices like database optimization, caching, and proper exception handling.

Technically, I’m strong in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL. I also have experience working with messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing.

One of my key strengths is understanding business requirements and translating them into efficient technical solutions, especially in financial systems where accuracy and performance are critical.
