About Me
I am a lifelong speaker of the Swahili language I have about 3 years of interpreting experience mainly in the public sector such as in healthcare and in legal settings. I have done work here in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, and Sheffield and in Nottingham. Aside from interpreting and translating I can also teach Swahili for beginners and intermediates.
I have a medical science background having studied biomedical sciences and Toxicology/Pharmacology at undergraduate and post graduate respectively and can understand terminology in this field in both languages.
I have a strong command of the English language too having studied both English and Swahili from a very tender age I developed good communication and linguistic skills in both languages and can speak, write, read and listen without any problem.
