Born and bred on the sunny shores of Durban, South Africa, my name is Karishma Thakurdin, a qualified journalist and content editor with 15 years of mainstream digital and print media experience.
Creating content and telling stories isnt just a job to me, its a passion that I take incredible pride in. Over the past 15 years, Ive had the privilege to work across various genres, making me an agile writer. My experience as a digital editor over the last five years has given me the platform to add to my technical skill set, which includes copy editing, content strategy, cross pollination through social media, working on a CMS system, using tools such as Google Analytics and SemRush to make more informed decisions.
I am also currently studying towards a certificate in digital copywriting and content marketing to further upskill myself.
