My name is Jose Iege, I am a Free Lance English and Portuguese Translator/ Conference Consecutive Interpreter/ court interpreter both on zoom and in physical platforms with over 10 years proven experience in the field.

I am from Angola in Southern Africa, Angola is a Portuguese speaking country in Southern Africa, I have grown in the midst of International schools, therefore, I am bilingual in both English and Portuguese.

I have developed an appreciation for linguistics since my teen years, at age 17, I started interpreting, through trial and errors. I have undertaken linguistics study and gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Linguistics from the UK. Furthermore, I have also developed passion passion for legal translation and attained an LLB Bachelor of Laws from University of London UK.

Currently, I work as a Freelancer, I translate: books, magazines, academic articles, journals, and any general documents, I do voice over and transcription.
