Working professionally in website development and internet related industries since[removed]My first website went online in 1996 as part of an IT project and is still live today. My first commercial experience of JavaScript was in 2000 working as an ecommerce software engineer for a digital publishing company. Since then I have focused primarily on front end development, playing key roles in developing sites ranging from modern CMS systems such as Wordpress to bespoke Angular, React, and Backbone web applications.

Using widely accepted coding standards at all times, I have extensive experience with developing REST based web applications in a test-driven, agile and collaborative environment working on functionality such as authentication, internal messaging systems, admin panels, responsive layouts, bespoke Gantt charts and other dashboard widgets using libraries such as d3, paginated lists, complex validated forms, typeaheads and more.
