Job Mwene

Job Mwene is a dedicated and highly skilled Electrical and Electronics Engineer with First Class Honours from Murang’a University of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field. His specialization lies in power systems analysis, renewable energy systems, and energy management, with a keen research focus on optimal placement and sizing of Battery Energy Storage Systems in PV dominated grids for enhanced frequency response and grid stability.

Job’s expertise includes advanced simulation and optimization using MATLAB, MATPOWER, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, as well as practical application of fuzzy logic and metaheuristic algorithms. He has successfully undertaken projects in feeder network modeling, techno economic evaluation, and IoT based real time monitoring.
