Jessica Barnfield

I am Jessica Barnfield, a professional translator, copywriter, and transcriber with over 3 years of industry experience

I have a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Edinburgh. During my time at University I worked as a freelance translator as well as studying French-English translation at l’Université de la Sorbonne, Paris IV. I also worked as a Spanish-English/ English-Spanish translator in Argentina, and helped to found the University of Edinburgh Translation Society. I have since worked in International Rights at Penguin Books, completed an MPhil in European Literature at the University of Cambridge, and worked professionally as a translator, copywriter, and editor for a wide range of clients.
