Writing is a hobby that I have come back to after four decades of practice as a professional engineer in India and various parts of the world. It is something that I find challenging, interesting and motivating. Researching various topics on the internet helps to while away a lot of time, while the information collected makes for interesting reading and writing. Deciding on a subject to write about is as mystifying as ever, and many an hour is spent on deciding what to write about. Strangely enough, when you write on any subject, readers are inclined to assume you are an expert. This has been embarrassing at times.

I have been writing on the web for the past five years. subjects that interest me are environment, I renewable energy, business administration, health, alternative medicine, social relationships and civil engineering.
