Jane Anika

I am a young Kenyan woman who has strived to create a career in service to women and to the democratic and governance process since my internship right out of school. An alumni of the University of Nairobi, I majored in sociology and political science options.
Experience had taught me how to build strong relationships with all departments at an organization. I have the ability to work within a team as well as a cross team.
I have the experience in community service and I understand the social value of the non-profit sector. I enjoy nothing more than big-picture, forward thinking and am also very analytical and thorough in program implementation, this drive led me to the position I hold now as assistant program manager in the short span of 7 months from a field officer position. I have successfully organized a national conference on renewable energy and held four regional conferences in Kenya on the same. I am pleased to have outdone myself and successfully overseen the implementation.
