About Me

Delger a.k.a. Jamukha is a freelance artist and filmmaker living in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. His artistic work deals with psychology where he draws on his background in science and interest in social outcasts. He is part of a generation that ushered in a new era in Mongolia, and has been witness to and part of the subsequent social changes. He attended the Mongolian-Russian Joint School for secondary education and then studied Biotechnology at the National University of Mongolia, the country’s premier university. In 2009, after graduating with a science degree, he decided to pursue his other passion: art. Jamukha joined the university’s department of Traditional Art Study where he focused on arts management and art criticism. In 2010, he produced and wrote his first film as part of the “48 Hours International Short Film Festival”.
