About Me
I am a Senior Research Engineer with a diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and MSc with distinction in Biomedical Engineering. I am finishing my PhD in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Technical University of Crete. My research activities focus on multi omic data integration and interpretation methodologies development, especially used in Molecular Epidemiology and Toxicology. I have worked in numerous EU funded projects as a bioinformatician and/or project manager, and developed data analysis workflows for a variety of omics technologies, ranging from microarrays, to RNAseq, Bisulfite sequencing and single cell RNAseq. My Expertise: Multi omics, Epigenetics, Transcriptomics, Environmental Epidemiology, Data analysis, Biomarker Discovery, Machine Learning, Programming R, Python, C, Cloud technologies, Big Data.
