About Me
I am Ipsita. I am a freelance writer and a solo female traveller from India, on the road for 3+ years. Three years back I sold and donated all my belongings at the age of 23, and ventured out for a whirlwind adventure. Ever since then, I have hiked long distance with my 70 litre backpack, hitchhiked alone in the Himalayas, camped in offbeat places, lived with the locals, volunteered in local schools and organic farms, and written travel stories on my blog www.nomadenroute.com. My writings have been published in The Better India, The Traveller Trails print, India Outbound print, Women’s Web, Travellers of India and many others. As a freelancer, I have worked on various projects for 4 years, and continue to do so.
