About Me
I am Dr Ikhlaq Ahmad, a researcher and academic specialising in Plant Breeding and Genetics with a strong background in molecular biology, bioinformatics, and modern agricultural sciences. I completed my PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi 2024, following my B.Sc. Hons. and M.Sc. Hons. degrees in Agriculture from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.
My professional journey has included roles as a Scientific Officer at the Directorate of Agricultural Research Gilgit, a Visiting Lecturer at the International Islamic University Islamabad, and a Research Fellow at the Mountain Agricultural Research Centre, PARC. These experiences allowed me to combine teaching, applied research and scientific communication.
I am skilled in advanced molecular techniques, statistical data analysis, and academic writing, and I am passionate about transforming complex scientific concepts into accessible knowledge.
