I am an experienced Mechanical Engineer, with 11 years experience in manufacturing Industry.
For the last 10 years I am working as a Design Engineer for heat treatment industries.
I am familiar with Nx, Solid Edge, Solid Works and AutoCAD.
My duties and responsibilities are
1. Understand customers requirement as per their furnace and fixture requirement e.g. type of furnace, max. Temp. Cooling medium. Capacity of furnace (weight and utilization dimension).
2. Type of parts to load in fixture (material, size and weight)
3. While designing fixtures some points are considered precisely such as loading and unloading of fixture and components, aspect net and gross weight ratio, lifting of fixtures in loaded conditions and temperature.
4. Draw a layout as per requirement then convert in 3D models.
5. Design the patterns and tooling to machining in VMC for casting parts.
6. Casting simulation for Sand Casting and investment casting parts.
7. Designing the tooling for forging and sheet metal
