Fathima Shahana

I am Fathima Shahana, a Psychology graduate from Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, with a deep interest in mental health, communication, and creative expression. I bring a unique blend of academic excellence, hands on teaching experience, and media exposure that helps me connect with people effectively and empathetically.

In addition to completing my B.Sc. in Psychology, I have over three years of experience teaching arts and crafts to students in my community, which has sharpened my ability to communicate, inspire, and mentor. I also had the opportunity to work with Vikatan for one year, where I gained valuable experience in media, content creation, and public engagement—further enhancing my storytelling and people skills.

For my final year project, I researched “Factors Causing Perceived Stress Among College Sports Persons,” which explored the various stressors affecting young athletes. This experience strengthened my research, analysis, and understanding of youth psychology.
