I have been using Java since 1996 with a very strong focus on UI development. I am the project lead for the JFXCentral community website, covering all things related to JavaFX frameworks, people, books, videos, tools, etc.... I am also a Java Champion and JavaOne Rockstar. Between freelancing jobs I work on my commercial Gantt Charting framework FlexGanttFX flexganttfx.com or I I work on my open source projects, e.g. GemsFX, FormsFX, PreferencesFX, PDFViewFX. I have been freelancing since 2005 and worked on many projects in various domains aviation, logistics, manufacturing, sports, medicine.
