About Me
I have been involved for nearly 40 years as a Thermal Engineer, in various shapes and forms. I spent a great deal of time as a specialist Consulting Engineer to some of the leading international companies involved with automotive heat transfer devices, and copper/brass micro foils. I commercialized two novel particle brazing processes for automotive applications CD Technology Aluminium and CuproBraze Copper Brass. This involved advanced heat transfer, and brazing furnace optimization. I have also invented micro footprint air to water heat pumps, and esigned a large range of heat exchangers: shell and tube HE, plate heat exchangers PHE and Extended fin HE. Modular shell and tube heat exchangers MSTHE proved to be fascinating. I have continued with PhD research on the topic: The Wave Nature of the Navier Stokes equations. In other words What are the physics behind fluid turbulence. I have written a number of academic papers.
