About Me
I am a freelance writer, working on and off for more than 5 years. I got my Bachelor's at Brooklyn College, where I studied journalism and edited the school newspaper. Using the AP stylebook as a bible, I mostly focused on reporting events and digging into investigative pieces.
Since then, I've had a variety of writing jobs. I began a tutoring/academic writing business, which gave me excellent researching skills. Analyzing and editing various pieces of academic writing also sharpened my copy editing skills - as well as my memory for APA, MLA, and CMS formats.
As far as SEO goes - I worked with many different companies creating copy on such a huge variety of topics ranging from audio engineering, to information about kangaroos. This expanded my usual range of interests, helped develop an entirely different vernacular, and sharpened my web skills. I specialize in tech and health.
I'm very familiar with Wordpress and most other blogging tools thrown at me.
