About Me
My artistic research developed starting from an interest in black and white photography, as I consider it a tool that allows us to better falsify reality, to distort the image and its representation. It allows me to extrapolate details, shadows, lights, ephemeral, obvious and banal phenomena that we are too used to seeing.
Photography is the tool I use to capture the banal to look for beauty, where beauty isnt there.
What interests me is form and composition, how lines and textures are enough on their own.
There is no message or meaning in the background, what you see is what it is: an abstraction of the truth, and it doesnt matter how true it is.
I consider my photography spontaneous, like when the eye falls on something, it is never studied, I have no expectations, I let myself be surprised by the result. And this is the sense of gratification that taking photography gives me, it is waiting for that image that my eye sees when it falls.
