David Massey

I am an English native speaker of Indian origin and have been living in Italy for about 24 years. Although I am not a certified translator, I have around 21 years of experience in translating texts on tourism and travel, clothing, fashion, media, retail, video games, and tourism in Italy. Working for a clothes company, “Brummel,” I used to translate textile and clothes vocabulary. Later, at the “European Language Institute” publishing house, I translated children’s literature from Italian into English. I have also taught translation techniques to undergraduate students from different universities. At present, I am working for a university here in Italy as an English/Italian translator and proof-reader, and my duties mainly involve translating and proofreading texts on medical general, medical instruments, nutrition, sociology, gastronomy, history, the Internet, e-commerce, management, business, marketing and instruction manuals, robotics, advertising, and public relations.
