Before opting into software development, I worked as a teacher for four years and Teaching taught me several of the skills I now use every day as a developer: problem solving, effective communication, multi tasking, and more. My employer noticed my versatility and time management skills and asked me to help with four more subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, together with the Agricultural Science I was to be taking. Now, I bring the same energy and enthusiasm to all of my work and learning, including my endeavour as a software developer.
I have been trained at Microverse to work remotely and asynchronously with people across different time zones. So when I found this job advert, I immediately saw myself in the job description knowing fully well that I have all it takes to deliver what your organisation needs.
