I have used Excel and VBA for over 25 years to make my work Efficient, Logical and well Documented.
In terms of Excel, I have significant experience including:
Setting up spreadsheets in a clear and logical manner
Future proofing spreadsheets e.g. by using named ranges to easily transition to next calculation year.
Robust use of linked spreadsheets by hard coding and using check cells.
In terms of VBA, I use the tool constantly throughout my working day including:
Running excel multiple times using VBA for simulation purposes
Using functions where formulae in cells become too cumbersome
Using VBA to derive complex calculations in a clear and logical manner
Refreshing data links across multiple tabs
Controlling other software and collating results.
I am also highly trained in Statistical and Actuarial Techniques.
