From mating patterns of birds in Rio de Janeiro to cultural differences represented in language to technical manuals, my writing encompasses such a wide range of topics that it can't be confined into most freelancer profiles. Economic development to healthy recipes, I've worked from South America to New York City to Europe, gaining experience in every aspect of the industry from blogging as a nomadic adventure-seeker to working full-time as an editor at a high volume publication with tight deadlines. I write in English and Portuguese and copy edit texts by native and non-native speakers. In addition, I have university degrees in Economics and Psychology, experience teaching and in marketing, and have founded a successful business in Brazil in the sports industry, fueled by a humanitarian focus.
