About Me
After working in the government for 28 years, l would like to change another field related to English job as l obtained the qualification in English language studies degree. As such, what l have learnt can be useful to my part time job. My hobbies that I like reading English news: CNN, NBC, BBC, Fox News and so on, and watch Netflix every day. It is the best way to learn more slang and localized speech. When it comes to Chinese language, I prefer to read classic literature fictions. For example, Three Kingdoms of Romance, Dream of Red Chamber, and Water Margin. I always read these fictions when I was young. Although I do not have experience in the subtitle translation field, I really would like to participate in it. I thought that it is not essential for reading books to be a good subtitle translator but it is important to master literacy. l am hoping that it is the most suitable part time job for me to formulate the outlook after retirement.
