About Me
HI! My name is Chiara Perfigli, I am an italian translator specialized in audiovisual translation dubbing, subtitling, audiodescription in the following language pairs: EN > IT and DE > IT. During my university years, I have dealt with the translation of different types of texts in the following languages: English, German and Russian, with later specialisation in English and German in the field of dubbing.
During my university years I had the chance to study in depth CAT tools, such as Trados Studio, SDL Multiterm, BootCat, AntConc, and AntCorGen.
Towards the end of my studies, I decided to conduct my curricular internship at the same studio, and therefore had the opportunity to work side by side with two excellent adapters. During this internship, I mainly translated and assisted in the adaptation of TV series and films from English and German into Italian.
I am a very precise and detail oriented person, but also open to confrontation in case of disagreements.
