About Me

I, Aruna C. Subasingha, am a lecturer currently working at the Industrial Engineering Training Institute. I have been working at the Department of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Peradeniya for more than 2 years, assisting and overseeing research projects involving isolating and analyzing automation and mechanical design, finite element analysis, modelling, additive manufacturing, and 3D printing applications, as well as orthotics and biomedical applications. I am a highly motivated researcher with a solid academic background in design and manufacturing who is waiting to embrace challenges in the areas of mechanical engineering, manufacturing and automation engineering, material science, and physics. I enjoy problem solving and challenges. This is the part of my work that I enjoy the most, and I generally take a proactive approach to everything that I do.
