With over 15 years cumulative experience as a policy/ advocacy, gender expert and research professional; providing technical support to local and international development, humanitarian and relief agencies, I have had the opportunity of working in a multi disciplinary and multi cultural environment.
I have developed skills and expertise in a range of several programmatic areas, including governance, advocacy, research, protection/rights and gender. Some of my responsibilities have included overall program development, administration; management of advocacy, policy and gender programmes, consultancies, researches, monitoring and evaluation processes; organizing conferences and/or forums; and training workshops, while working towards tight deadlines with initiative and flexibility to prioritize in a demanding environment. Further, I have been tasked with providing strategic leadership and direction for policy, advocacy and gender strategy development, primarily aimed at policy change.
