About Me
I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with more than 10 years experience both in clinical and administrative healthcare setting. Throughout my career as Charge Nurse in 2 hospitals in Sudan and as Head Nurse in Nigeria, all in Ophthalmology Department; I became efficient and responsible regarding patient healthcare setting, staff and patient workflow, adept in using electronic health records EHR, communication skills and efficient in time management. Aside from clinic I also worked in theater as circulating nurse and responsible in autoclaving instruments prior and after surgery. I am very keen to details. Now transitioning as Medical Virtual assistant, with by nursing background and prior training as MVA with HIPAA compliance, insurance verification and prior authorization, phone handling, transcription and live scribe, prescription refill, CPT and ICD codes, all these i will be a good asset to the company.
