I am an English to Spanish freelance translator based in Manchester, United Kingdom. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Vigo, Spain, and I also spent one year at the Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, where I did Business and Translation Studies. Depending on the field, I also translate from French and, although I do not translate directly from Danish, I often use the Danish version of the texts I am translating for reference and inspiration when I am working for my Danish clients.

I started translating part-time in[removed]Then, in early 2018, after more than ten successful years working in the Financial Services sector Insurance, Human Resources and Global Payroll, I decided to concentrate exclusively on my translation career, as this happens to be my true passion and it also suits my family’s lifestyle a lot better. I now work with agencies and direct clients worldwide, helping them reach their Spanish-speaking audience.
