I’m an accomplished workers’ compensation professional with over twenty years of experience, specializing in complex Texas indemnity and multi jurisdictional medical only claims. Serving as a medical only team lead for sixteen years before making Texas WC claims handling my main focus, I consistently delivered operational excellence through strategic problem solving and regulatory compliance. Upon entering the industry in 2005 with a high risk carrier, I served as the Medical Only team leader and as TPA coordinator. I was instrumental in training new staff; reviewing claim files to confirm compliance with workers’ compensation laws, operational requirements, and standards; overseeing the reserve process; and conducting performance evaluations. My leadership extended to policy development, quality assurance, and operational improvements, including restructuring the Medical Only Procedure Manual.
