Andrew Coulson

I have over 30 years of experience in software development in roles that have included Business Analyst, Architect, Manager, Team Lead and individual contributor. I have consulting and contracting experience in engagements involving remote development. This experience, combined with strong communication skills and deep and broad technical experience in multiple languages and software domains makes me a great candidate for remote contract roles.

While I am currently employed full time as a Java Web App developer, I have considerable background working with Arduino and other consumer micro controllers ESP8266, ESP32, Teensy, sometimes with wireless or using Android apps, in a hobby context. I am currently seeking the opportunity to freelance on artistic projects involving consumer micro controllers, perhaps involving light or sound responsiveness or synchronization. I would be willing to work part-time at a greatly reduced rate, or even free, on fun, artistic endeavors.
