About Me

Hi! I’m Amanuel Assefa Workineh, an Information Technology lecturer and researcher from Ethiopia. With a Master’s in IT from Jimma University and a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, I have nearly a decade of teaching experience in AI, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analytics.
I’ve led projects in sentiment analysis and chatbot development, focusing on practical applications that enhance student services. My research includes deep learning for the Afan Oromoo language, reflecting my commitment to local advancements in technology.
I excel in programming especially Python, software engineering, and system administration, and I’ve coordinated quality assurance programs while training youth through initiatives by the Ministry of Peace of Ethiopia.
Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering, reading, and staying active. I’m excited to collaborate on Truelancer—let’s bring your ideas to life!
