I am Ahmed Mujtaba.  Having more than five years experience in the field of community spharmacy .

I believe that  patients do best when pharmacists are part of their healthcare teams. So I decided to be patient oriented.

Currently employed with Dr. Drug Mart, as a Manager Community Pharmacy, where I keep an eye on the team to make sure they are adhering to the standards, Teach diabetic patients how to control their insulin, oversee the pharmacys complete inventory management process, ensure that patients are taking their medications as prescribed, and set up an internship and training programme for students to provide them a foundational understanding of community medicine.

Started my career with one of the most leading multinational company as a pharmacovigilance executive. After learning from there, I decided to move on. I started my M. Phil in pharmacy practice from Karachi University. I joined a prestigious hospital in Karachi as a Senior Pharmacist while pursuing my M. Phil. There, I cross checked the hospitals use of prescription medications and supplies. Prepare and test the quality of chemotherapy medicines. Respond to inquiries concerning medications used in the hospital, conduct instruction in the pharmacy department, and interpreting doctors orders and looking for potential therapeutic incompatibilities.

Then I got opportunity from community pharmacy. I decided to move from hospital to community because there is a utter need of pharmacists within communities to educate, counsel and reduce the burden of cost by providing cost effective medicines to the people.

In last, my vision is to create awareness regarding a true concept of community pharmacy to the general public and professionals.
