About Me
I am Ahmed Adel, an enthusiastic naval architect with experience in both technical design and R&D. Since early 2021, I have been working at Alexandria Shipyard as a technical design engineer, focusing on hull structural design and finite element analysis. By the end of 2022, I completed my Master of Science in Advanced Ship Technology, which further equipped me with skills in optimization and parametric modeling. This achievement led to my current role within the company’s R&D team, where I contribute to the development of new ship concepts.
My skills are not limited to 3D modeling, 2D drawings/drafting, finite element analysis, Matlab coding/scripting, and research, and I am also willing to learn anything new as work environment or freelancing tasks require.
