I have MSc in Remote sensing and Geo Informatics from Addis Ababa University, MA in Physical Geography from Bahir Dar University, and B.A degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Addis Ababa University.
I have more than 12 years’ work experience as Geospatial Expert, Senior Researcher, project designer and Data manager, Process coordinator and Teacher. I have a high quality of high analytical skills in GIS and Remote sensing, understanding and conducting Research and other Contemporary issues such as Environmental Impact Assessment EIA, Soil science, Sustainable land management, Applied Climatology and hydrology, Biogeography, Agro ecology and farming system and terrain analysis, Land use planning and Programming language. I am also well skilled in conducting survey, observation, focus group discussions, designing projects as well as performing R programming, ILWIS, SAGA, Ms office, SPSS, ERDAS, Google Earth Engine, PostgreSQL, ODK/KOBO data collection App and Camtasia.
