Starting point &nbsp;/ Goal:
The intention is that the website guide map works the same as the guide in the Valletta Guide app (See link above).
Explanation:
When the guide button is clicked, Google map should open in full screen (full screen is not the case now).
The country of Malta is visible. (Other countries are not necessary, not the case now). The blue dot is the location of the device.
When a marker is clicked, the text of the link becomes visible.
When the text link is clicked, the relevant link is opened and goes to the relevant page.
When the relevant page is closed, you will return to the Google map as it was before. (so if you zoomed in on a specific point you will return in a bit) (so you will return as you left the page) (see the app). Returning to the same position and zoom is not present now.
For your information, the map in the app is an offline app.
Google map cannot contain more than the country of Malta. That is not the case now.
Google maps must therefore have a back function, by returning to the map. The return button is in the menu bar. The image should automatically resize when the screen is enlarged or reduced. That is not the case now.
I'm enclosing the code for the return button, maybe it will help you.
Attached I enclose the code I have now, maybe you can use it.
Maybe you have to start all over again.
