I would like to develop a device that can measure the sound level caused by water flowing through a pipe and sound an audible alarm when the sound level exceeds a preset limit.
The preset level will be established empirically by mounting the device on the water supply pipe and adjusting its sensitivity to the maximum sound level that is deemed to be acceptable for that particular location.
This means that the device does not need to accurately measure the intensity of the sound in dB, but only compare the intensity of the sound measured to the present maximum sound intensity.
The freelancer must be located in the UAE.
