Our company Pix (www.Pix-Virtual.com) creates
integrative and immersive WebGL user experiences for the Real Estate Industry
within days to a week from project start (depending on the scale of the
project). We are looking to build a
relationship with individuals or preferably a team to outsource the basic
geometry creation from 2D floorplans to 3D models ready to use in a game
engine. All sample materials, and other reference documents for our QuickTour product
deliveries will be provided on a per project basis. Please note: 
The
budget will vary (Higher or Lower) on a per project basis, based on its size and
complexity.&nbsp; So the $Dollar amount included below is
simply a placeholder... Please review the links below for samples of our work,
so you can provide a ballpark estimate of your costs to produce similar 3D
scenes given the scope of work listed above. 
 
 
Requirements 



<ol>
 <li>We use a proprietary technology to
 publish the WebGL scenes from 3D Max, therefore the ideal file format to
 deliver the 3D models to us is a native 3D Max file. 
 If you are using a 3D modeling application OTHER that 3D Max, then we
 would need a test file to confirm the conversion and production process is
 clean and simple.</li>
 <li>You will not be responsible for
 setting up the lighting or any of the interactive elements (e.g. buttons,
 the ability to change materials, load/unload different scenes, etc.).</li>
 <li>No programming will be required on
 your part</li>
 <li>Initially we are looking for 3D
 artists on a per need basis. As our need for production grows, we can
 discuss dedicated full-time staffing, but we are not there yet.</li>
 <li>Either the 3DArtist or their
 Managers must speak US English Fluently</li>

Specifications 

<ol>
 <li>No textures over 1024x1024</li>
 <li>No Tileable Textures over 512x512
 (smaller is preferred if it keeps the level of detail visually the same)</li>
 <li>For large scenes, no more than
 800,000 Polygons (1.6M Triangles)</li>
 <li>No coplanar or overlapping polygons
 are allowed</li>
 <li>For walls - all vertices at corners and intersections, as well as the rough openings for doors and windows must be
 welded. There can not be overlapping edges or seams within an object.</li>
 <li>All materials will be of a Standard
 Format using basic game-based texturing techniques (no Vray,
 Substance, or other specialty materials / textures)</li>
 <li>Multi-Sub Materials &amp; UV
 Coordinates will be assigned by Material IDs</li>
 <li>The 3D Furniture
 and decorator items to be placed into the scenes will be provided to you
 by Pix</li>
