I am Tanvir Ahmed, a Compliance & Sustainability practitioner, have been working as Manager for different multinational retail/fashion organizations like; PWC, GSC, Li & Fung and Brands for last 20 years. My areas of expertise are Retail Management, Compliance & Sustainability, Training, Occupational Health & Safety, HR, Administration, Customer Care & Services, Team buildup and Team Management. I have started my compliance journey with 3rd party audit company named PricewaterhouseCoopersPWC Bangladesh as an Audit Manager. During my tenure I’ve conducted Ethical Audit s in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China and Jordan. I also worked as a Divisional Head of Vendor Compliance & Sustainability team in Li & Fung Bangladesh and lead a team of 35 qualified team members of Audit Dept, Capacity Building and Safety Task Force Dept....

I received my 1st master degree from the University of Dhaka in 1982 and my MS/M.Phil, International Relationships from J.N. University New Delhi in 1984 and Diploma in Journalism from Indian institute of Mass communication New Delhi in[removed]I obtained an MS in Environmental Studies 1995 and a Ph.D. in Urban Ecology 2001 from Duke University, NC USA. Since that time, I have contributed to a number of periodicals on a variety of topics as a reporter and as an editor. I continue to work with the Washington Post since 1996 as a Regional Contributor on Environmental Development and with the Sydney Morning Herald and Melbourne Age since 1998 as a foreign correspondent, but most of my attention is currently directed towards my work on environmental and social justice issues. The goal of my life is to learn effective strategies to compel the human life and the nature and that have to share my experiences in working for environmental justice, peace and progress for the mankind....

I am a professional writer. I prefer to write article mainly on legal issue. I wrote a law book, named Hindu Law which is mostly popular in Bangladesh. I also like to prefer to write on environmental issue, child abuse, labour issue, humanitarian law, legal development and religious and political matters. Though, I am new in marketplace but I have long experience of writing book and article in daily newspaper. I also very much dedicated in research. That's what I am in short. Tanx dear....
