Flooring Specialist
Hello my name is Jassiel. My specialty is tile, flooring, showers, countertops, backsplashes, decks, etc. Also done alot of other types of flooring. Such as stained concrete, wood flooring, vinyl, vct, laminate, marble and stone flooring, thats a real beauty right there. I've been doing this type of work for over ten years and take alot of pride in my work, making sure my work is always top quality and not many can match my level of skill. Detail is what makes or brakes a job. It's the difference between, it looks good, to, Wooow! This is absolutely beautiful! I love what I do. I love when a job comes together, and the face of the owner when he sees the finished product for the first time, is priceless. My goal is to shock the customer with absolute perfection and quality. I enjoy doing complicated custom pieces. I like testing my skills and pushing them. Learning new ways to do what I know best. I can handle production work as well though, I worked about 4 years grinding out new homes for major builders in Pima county. Since the pandemic touched our country, work slowed a substantial amount. So I'm trying out new ways to advertise my work. I am willing to travel if the job calls for it. I know how to do many other things as well, I consider myself a handyman, and what I don't know I am willing to learn. I have a good work ethic and know my way quite well around a job site, materials and tools. I graduated high school, but while I was there, writing was my favorite subject, I was in honors English every year and took creative writing classes, journalism, I was journalist for the Sunnyside high daily and had my own blog. I took poetry classes, made teachers cry and won poetry contests. I love to write, actually, that's my dream job. I graduated and joined the Marine Corps where I was EPA certified on type 1,2, and 3 A/C systems and cross trained in repairing and maintaining diesel engines and diesel powered generators. I made it to the rank of Corporal before my term was up, where I supervised 30 marines running a shop of about 350 units. I was given leadership training where I participated in a number of classes such as, communication skills, time management, ethical training for a professional career in order to be someone my marines actually wanted to follow not only because of my rank but because of who I am and the way I handle certain situations in my position. Trust, loyalty and respect is what I planted in each and every one of my marines. When I came back home I had a bunch of different jobs, the first one was landscaping. I did construction first, digging holes with a pick and a shovel for 9 bucks an hour when it was 115 degrees out. Tucson gets hot! I was a brand new father though and had to buy all that formula at 20 bucks a can. Eventually tho I moved up to maintenance and things got a little bit easier. I picked up that skill from start to finish. After that I got a job at a call center as a salesman and made the elite team within a month of learning the trade. I was making 3500 a month on just commission, that's not counting the[removed]I was getting paid an hour. I wasn't expecting all the drama that came with working in an enclosed office though and I made the mistake of letting it get to me. I was young and immature back then. So I went back to my original trade, flooring. Been there ever since. So i guess that concludes some of the roads I've been through in my life. As you can see it's very diverse. I'm very grateful because I picked up a whole bunch of skills most people never get the chance to learn.
