I've been rotoscoping for nearly 10 years now and counting. I love roto! It's a straightforward task but not an easy one most of the time. It takes time, focus, planning and hours of music listening too. I've worked on both TV commercials and Hollywood movies in the past. I've rotoscoped many elements such as humans, crowds, trees & leaves, water splash both fast and slow motion, vehicles, debris, and many more. On Hollywood movies, I've worked on Life of Pi, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Django Unchained, Alvin & The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked and Seventh Son. Usually I use NukeX 10 and above for the rotoscope job. I can either give the rendered files of the mattes of your choosing or I can give the Nuke project file so that the compositor can adjust the roto shapes and feather the edges more manually and in control.
