Economics class has been my favourite for a long time. The reason behind my proffesed love for this subject is simply because, from it I have learnt a few fundamental principles on how to survive in this man eat man society. Economics has enlightened me to a deeper understanding of the market forces and how their alteration will always bring returns to one party at the expense of the other. In this subject I have since realised that economic prosperity is not achieved by those who are well accomplished but rather by those who have an analytical wit about them. What fascinates me about this subject is that unlike other disciplines it has preserved its fundamental theories which are still relevant to date. For example  A.Smith's theory of "absolute advantage" is still relevant in its application as far as production and trade are concerned. This subject has eased my mind on the subject of paying tax as long as l am convinced that my government has adopted a better public policy especially on public expenditure. What distinguishes this discipline from other social sciences is that its theories are not only hypothetical but can actually be practically applied. I have ever wondered why world leaders are ever cunning in pursuing diplomatic relations but thanks to economics I now have a sanguine answer. I now understand that geopolitics and economic relations are inseparable. What distinguishes this subject as my best is the fact that it has natured in me a positive and analytical mind which spots every opportunity as a possibility and vice versa.
