Do you ever wonder how relationships fail?

 Is it the lack of communication?
 Is it a lost of interest?
 Or are people not meant to last long? 


 Today I felt like blogging about that exactly . Failed relationships and how they possibly got there. From my own experiences with failed relationships I think there are always red flags in the beginning that we choose to ignore because we want that person to be the one, but what is the one? Is there such a thing as the one? can many people be the one? Or are our standards so high that we may never actually find the one even if there is one.

 In my opinion some relationships fail because the relationship eventually becomes a one-way street in which one person loves, cares,  and tries harder than the other. How did that come to this point? what happens that makes the other person no longer interested even after confessing love for one another? Or was it ever love to begin with?

 In my experience I noticed that my feelings begin to change when the things that made me ignore those red flags are no longer stronger attributes. Example; a charming, attractive, funny, witty, and motivating person can make you ignore that they are not very talkative, and not familiar with the term "communication is key" but when you get further into the relationship sometimes that communication needs to be there,  and if they don't have communication skills it becomes hard to ignore when that charming, witty, and motivational part of them starts to become who they use to be. So now that small problem becomes a huge problem.

 I believe that once someone begins to question their relationship or begin to doubt their relationship it is the beginning of the end of that relationship. You start planting doubts in your head about that person or you wonder if that person has doubts in their head about you. Once you get into the melancholy of the relationship it's hard to step out of that. In today's world it is not hard to come by other attractive and funny people who you have something in common with. In this day and age if you feel the relationship is on the rocks, seeing other people who better fit your interest becomes temptation that most people do not have that kind of self-control to ignore those inner desires.

 Plus you also have family, friends, and social media that influences people to not deal with bad relationships. Now. That's not to say that someone should be or deal with a sour relationship but sometimes we jump to the conclusion that a relationship is a sour one because we don't want to work to make it better we don't want to work to fix it and bring it back to where it was and sometimes that is all you need to make the relationship perfect again.

 My final thoughts would be if you feel that you are in a sour relationship or getting to that point then the best thing to do is to have a conversation with your partner and explain why you feel the way that you do and what you two can do to fix it.
If communication does not resolve the problem than there is a chance your relationship could be on the rocks. With out communication you will never know how the other feels and could leave a void of doubt, and uncertainty.
