NEET, National Eligibility
cum Entrance Test is an entrance examination conducted in India every year for
the student who wishes to make their career in medical ambiance. If any student
wishes to pursue undergraduate medical courses and dental courses from a government
or private medical and dental college in India then it's mandatory for him/her
to clear this entrance test. It was earlier renowned as the All India
Pre-Medical Test. This undergraduate exam for MBBS(medical) and BDS(dental)
courses is presently controlled by the body of NTA (National Testing Agency).
In 2013, NEET-UGUG had replaced the&nbsp;<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_India_Pre_Medical_Test" target="" rel="">All India Pre Medical Test</a>&nbsp;and
all discrete MBBS exams conducted by individual states or colleges. NEET-UG is
a solo entrance test which helps in admissions of more than 66,000 MBBS and BDS
students to attain seats in different colleges across India. It is conducted in
various languages including <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assamese_language" target="" rel="">Assamese</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bengali_language" target="" rel="">Bengali</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_language" target="" rel="">English</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gujarati_language" target="" rel="">Gujarati</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindi_language" target="" rel="">Hindi</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kannada_language" target="" rel="">Kannada</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathi_language" target="" rel="">Marathi</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriya_language" target="" rel="">Oriya</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamil_language" target="" rel="">Tamil</a>, <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telugu_language" target="" rel="">Telugu</a>,
and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urdu_language" target="" rel="">Urdu</a>, and is conducted for the duration of 3
hours.

Benefits of
NEET exam

NEET entrance exam has many benefits attached
to it. It prevents various Private Medical Colleges from conducting
their own entrance tests, thereby putting a halt on the provision of the
rankings caused and helps the deserving ones in becoming a successful Doctor.
It also reduced the pressure of giving various exams among students and
provides equal opportunity for all. Before NEET replaced AIPMT students had to
solve 200 questions in 3 hours
but this entrance test gives more time to students as they need to solve only
180 questions in the same duration.

Right time starting the preparations of the exam

If we discuss the correct time at which one
should start preparing for this entrance exam in order for it to be cleared in
the first attempt itself, then we can say that there's no specified period or
age for that. The preparation time is different for different students. It
entirely depends on the capability of an individual. A more knowledgeable and
sincere child who can grasp things faster will require comparatively lesser
time than the one who is slow at understanding things. But the ideal time to
start the preparations is considered to be the start of class 11th,
this is due to the similarity between the syllabus of class 11th and
12th and the syllabus of this entrance exam. 

Every year lakhs of
students in India passing out of class 12th&nbsp; write the NEET-UG medical entrance
test, but very few of them manage to lock up the seat in the college/institute
of their choice by securing an adequate rank. It's very difficult to secure a
seat in an upper-level government college and this can be achieved only if you
obtain a higher rank and for obtaining a good rank, a well-planned strategy
along with a massive amount of hard work is required for cracking one the most
difficult entrance exams in India. Many students start their preparations just
a month or two before the commencement of the test which creates a lot of
confusion, pressure, anxiety, and lack of confidence in their minds. So, it
advisable to start your preparations right from class 11 for better results.
