A happy-go-lucky jetsetter? Or a rookie? First-time flyer
still having to know flight etiquettes and safety norms while on board? No more
worries! I'm going to share with you a few cool ideas to have some solid
reasons to be a smart flyer the next time you get on board. I have read about passengers,
especially novice folks, doing off-the-wall things in mid air, someone trying
to get into the cockpit to charge his cellphone or someone rushing towards the
emergency exit door mistaken for a toilet. Pawky sense of humour, not? Well, I will show you some
way out to encounter this bewilderment and safety unawareness as well. 1.
DON'T MISS THE SAFETY BRIEFING: Though it might not interest
you especially if you are a frequent traveller, but bear in mind, adversities
do not come every day. At least take some time to know how many rows does it
take to get to the emergency exit point, in case you run out of luck ever. 2.
DON'T BE BOSSY TOWARDS THE CABIN CREW: Refrain from buzzing every
now and then with your orders and queries. Apart from serving you better, the
flight attendants have several other safety measures to be taken care of. It's
always a good idea not to order a drink or anything during the meal service,
it's their pick hour. After all, your safety is their first priority, next
comes the hospitality- a highly responsible combination of a service. Be
respectful towards them. 3.
YOUR LUGGAGE IS YOUR LIABILITY: Mind that the single-aisle
aircraft, like the 737 and A320, are way to low on space. Carry smaller hand
luggage if possible so that you can put them under the seats in front of you.
It's convenient to take out as and when required. 

Also, if you need to keep
your luggage overhead, use the overhead space directly above your own seat and
don't use up anybody else's space. 4.
DO NOT LIE BACK ON YOUR SEAT DURING MEALS: You can't afford to lose your
own little leg space during mealtimes. The same rule applies to the passengers sitting
behind you. It's very annoying. Be courteous to your fellow travellers. 5.
DON'T TAKE THE SAFETY CARDS/MAGAZINES HOME: It's a bizarre thing that a
portion of passengers (again, mainly newbies) are reported to be in practice.
Please, don't exercise that highly ambitious job as the passengers on the next
scheduled flight will be left without one. Happy journey!!
