Roles and Duties ofBusiness Analyst
- Evaluate, anticipate, and identify areas for improvement in business processes to develop effective solutions.
- Lead process reviews, develop optimization strategies, and stay up-to-date with process and IT advancements.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to communicate insights and findings to teams and management.
- Perform requirements analysis, document and communicate results, and gather critical information from stakeholders.
- Work closely with clients and staff to ensure solutions meet business needs and provide leadership and guidance to junior staff.
- Manage projects, perform user acceptance testing, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Maintain procedures, prioritize initiatives based on business needs, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Minimum Qualifications forBusiness Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or an MBA.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Skills forBusiness Analyst
