Jeff Polyglot

Self-taught in German, Jeff won one of the most prestigious awards given to high school students of German in the United States. From there, he went on to attain a B.A. in German from Marquette University. While a student, he was the university's tutoring program's lead German tutor. A member of Delta Phi Alpha, Jeff was also an officer for his university's chapter. Also during his time in university, Jeff had a job in which he was responsible for answering questions people had regarding German language and culture.
Upon finishing his studies, Jeff went on to spend the summer in Europe, where he spent two weeks traveling in Germany, Austria, and Hungary, before moving to Düsseldorf to take part in a German immersion studies program, where he completed level[removed]at the IIK-Institut für Internationale Kommunikation, being accredited with a certificate of having attained a level equivalent to C1.
An off-and-on translator for many years, Jeff now looks to make translating a career.
